Step closer to the mission of Creating One Million Neoteric Child Innovators in India by 2020, around 2441 schools across the country have been selected to establish an Atal Tinkering Lab by NITI Aayog. From Gurugram NITI Aayog, Govt. of India has selected three leading schools -CD International School, Lotus Valley and Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok for opening Atal Tinkering Lab. It is a moment of pride for CD International School, Gurugram for being listed in that group. These labs are dedicated work spaces where students (class VI – XII) learn innovation skills and develop ideas that will go on to transfer India. The labs are powered to acquaint students with state-of-the-art equipment such as 3D printers, robotics and electronics development tools, IoT and sensors etc. The lab activities are designed to spur the spark of creativity, and go beyond regular curriculum and text book learning. The labs will let students explore skills of future such as design and computational thinking, adaptive learning and artificial intelligence.
